Preparing for a HydraFacial Treatment
3-5 days before your microdermabrasion treatment it is advised to stop using exfoliating products, acids and bleaching creams/products.
- Discontinue retinols and tretinoin (Retin-A) at least 12 hours in advance (day before).
- Do not wax or have a skin treatment like a chemical peel or IPL 2 weeks prior to your treatment.
- HydraFacialâ„¢ cannot be done if you have active acne, cold sore or open lesions.
- Please discontinue Accutane 6 months prior to having any skin treatment or procedure due to skin sensitivity.
