Getting HydraFacial™ in Atlanta
What is HydraFacial™?
HydraFacial™ is a treatment that works both instantly and cumulatively to better your skin’s look and feel. A medical grade facial rejuvenation treatment, HydraFacial™ provides immediate results with zero downtime.
With patients’ individual skin goals in mind, WIFH’s Medical Aestheticians first perform a skin analysis to choose specific treatment serums based for specific skin types and concerns.
Our patients typically seek out a HydraFacial before the following special events:
- A bride to be
- The mother of the bride
- A birthday
- A date
- A job interview
- A reunion
The results you see with HydraFacial™ are cumulative which means with each treatment you are improving your skin’s overall health. The serums that are infused back into the skin during treatment are highly effective in addressing many skin concerns:
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Elasticity and firmness
- Skin tone
- Skin texture
- Sun damage and hyperpigmentation
- Congested skin
- Enlarged pores

What to Expect During the Procedure
Each treatment is completely customizable. Our Medical Aestheticians will begin by performing a thorough skin analysis, which will then allow them to choose specific treatment serums to tailor your treatment for your specific skin type and concerns.
All HydraFacial™ treatments consists of a series of steps to cleanse, exfoliate, extract, and hydrate your skin by using specialty serums packed with powerful antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid. We can also add in specific treatment serums to address your individual skin needs.
Your exact treatment is hard to detail since each one is customized based on your individual needs.
Think smoother, plumper, firmer, brighter, younger looking skin…instantly.
Once the treatment is complete your aesthetician my apply some additional products as well as sunscreen before you leave.
HydraFacial™ is a very relaxing treatment that feels very nice. You will feel a wet sensation as well as suction during the treatment. You should not experience any discomfort.
You can have a HydraFacial™ as frequently as every 2 weeks. HydraFacials are a great “maintenance” procedure to keep your skin smooth and fresh or if you are getting ready for a special event (wedding, prom, graduation, job interview, reunion, date, etc).
If you are using an aggressive product regimen like the Obagi Nu Derm System it is recommended to have a microderm every 6-weeks or so keep your skin from becoming dull. It’s good to get all of that dead skin off from time to time.
HydraFacial™ Recovery Time
Immediately following treatment your skin may be a little pink. This will typically subside in a few hours but can last as long as 24 hours. This is normal.
Always wear sunscreen.
You are able to apply make-up right away although many don’t want to put anything on their skin because it looks so fresh and polished.
Use only gentle cleansers for 3 days post treatment. Do not use a Clarisonic or powered cleansing brush during that time as well.
Refrain from using any exfoliating or acid-based skin care products for at least 3 days.
After 3 days you can resume your normal skincare regimen.
