How Long Does Juvederm Voluma Last?

Juvederm Voluma is very unique. Like many other fillers, it is a Hyaluronic Acid-based filler (which is naturally occurring in our bodies). However, this natural feature is then coupled with Vycross technology, which simply refers to the way the Hyaluronic Acid is linked together, allowing the product to keep from breaking down as quickly.

Unlike the other Hyaluronic Acid-based fillers that are injected subcutaneously (between the skin layers), Voluma is injected on top of the bone. This allows it to build volume upward, lifting the cheek.

Typically, most patients will need one syringe in each cheek for the best results. You will see results instantly and they will last for a long time.

Why Juvederm Voluma is Long-Lasting

Since this product does not bind with the water in your body, it does not break down as quickly unlike those hyaluronic acid fillers that do.

In fact, Juvederm Voluma lasts up to 24 months, with some patients reporting their results lasting even longer than 24 months. So, while this product is a bit more expensive than others, its longevity makes it very cost effective and the results worthwhile.

Patients who get Juvederm Voluma will notice results right away, and those results should last up to two years (if not longer), offering a great value for the treatment.

Juvederm Voluma Results

Patients absolutely love the results they see from Juvederm Voluma.

Juvederm Voluma gives you a nice, subtle, youthful contour of the cheek area. As an added bonus, it also helps to lift the lower face, which works to soften fine lines around the mouth, resulting in an overall fresh appearance.

The greatest part about the results patients see with Juvederm Voluma is how natural they appear post-treatment. Don’t expect to look like you have had cheek implants, the look is subtle and natural. There isn’t much swelling after having Voluma and you are able to apply make-up several hours after being injected so there is no downtime. Anytime you are sticking a needle in the skin you run the risk of bruising, but bruises can always be covered with make-up.

No one should be scared of this product or worried about how they will look post-treatment, because the results are so natural and effortless-looking. It leaves your face appearing more youthful and contoured.

Remember to look for highly trained and experienced injectors if you’re considering Juvederm Voluma. Your face is always a good investment. Contact us at WIFH for more information or to schedule a free consultation.
