The Nu Derm System includes: Cleanser, Toner, Clear (4% hydroquinone), Exfoderm, Blender (4% hydroquinone), Hydrate (moisturizer), SPF, and Tretinoin (Tretinoin is sold separately as it comes in different strengths cream/gel).
Patients might experience some peeling and flaking when they first start the system. During this time the skin can appear pink. Depending on the condition of your skin when you begin the system it could take up to 6 weeks for your skin to acclimate. This is all normal, if you can just get through this initial adjustment period the results you’ll see are totally worth it. If a patient can’t handle the prolonged flaking, there are things that can be adjusted such as discontinuing the use of the exfoderm during the day or moving to every other night use of the tretinoin. This system will transform your skin.
What The Regimen Looks Like
- AM: Cleanse, Tone, use an eye cream (not included in the kit, but we love Elastiderm), Clear, Exfoderm, Hydrate, SPF
- PM: Cleanse, Tone, Eye Cream, Clear, mix equal parts of Blender and Tretinoin, Hydrate
