After your Juvederm injections, it’s common to experience bruising and swelling. To help minimize these effects, we provide an ice pack immediately after treatment and recommend that patients avoid exercise and alcohol for the rest of the day. Restylane Planning & Aftercare
As with other dermal fillers using hyaluronic acid, patients see results right away with Restylane. Results may last between 6 months to 18 months depending on the type of Restylane filler, the amount of filler injected, and the patient’s age.
Some patients will experience bruising and swelling immediately after Restylane injections. We give patients an ice pack after treatment to help prevent swelling, and also recommend that they avoid exercise and alcohol for the rest of the day.
