Can I Continue to Wax or Pluck After I’ve Started Laser Treatments?

Laser hair removal works by targeting the pigment in the hair follicle beneath the skin. Waxing, plucking, or threading removes the hair entirely from the follicle, leaving nothing for the laser to treat.

Even if you wax or pluck 1 to 3 weeks before your appointment, the hair may not have fully regrown into the follicle. This makes your treatment less effective and can delay your overall results.

For best outcomes, we strongly recommend avoiding waxing, plucking, or threading throughout your treatment package. Shaving is perfectly fine and encouraged, as it preserves the follicle while keeping the skin smooth for treatment.
