How does Upneeq® work?

Upneeq® contains oxymetazoline hydrochloride, a medication that stimulates Müller’s muscle, one of the muscles responsible for lifting the upper eyelid. By activating this muscle, Upneeq temporarily raises the eyelid, creating a more open, refreshed appearance.

The treatment doesn’t change the structure of the eyelid or permanently correct ptosis. Instead, it provides a temporary lift while the medication is active. Many patients notice their eyes look brighter, less tired, and more symmetrical after use.
