Great news! Allergan has added another filler to the Juvederm family: Vollure.
What’s Different about Juvederm Vollure?
Well, all of the Juvederm cosmetic fillers are hyaluronic acid-based, but it’s their structure and make-up that makes them unique. Vollure uses Vycross Technology, is longer lasting, and is softer and thinner than other fillers, making it slightly unique.
Vollure uses vycross technology. What does that mean exactly? The hyaluronic acid is made up of a string of low and high molecular weight molecules. Its structure prevents it from being broken down as quickly, so this product lasts longer than some of the other hyaluronic fillers.
Vollure can last up to 18 months and is perfect for softening the lines around the mouth (nasolabial folds) and marionette lines (lines from the corners of the mouth to the chin area). Vollure is also great for augmenting the lips, if you are looking for subtle volume. It makes the lips look hydrated and plump.
Softer and Thinner
Vollure is softer and thinner than regular Juvederm Ultra Plus. Vollure is best for mild to moderate lines or if you want a subtle lip augmentation, since it does not deliver the same volume as Juvederm XC.
With all of our fillers, a numbing cream will be applied to the area prior to the injection and takes about 15 to 20 minutes to inject. After your injections, you might experience some swelling, and bruising is always a possibility. We recommend that you refrain from blood thinning medications such as ibuprofen and asprin to minimize your chances of bruising.
Vollure is a new favorite at WIFH. It provides a soft, natural look that lasts well over a year, giving you even more value for your financial investment.
