Cellulaze for Effective Cellulite Removal

Cellulaze for Effective Cellulite Removal

Are you sick of your cellulite? Tired of wasting your money on creams and topical treatments that don’t work? Then it’s time you looked at Cellulaze, an effective cellulite removal treatment that does demo on your cellulite, leveling it once and for all.

Cellulaze—a one time, minimally invasive laser procedure designed to attack the structural problems beneath the skin that cause cellulite—was the first of its kind when it was approved and released back in 2012 and continues to be the best and most effective treatment for cellulite.

Prior to Cellulaze, the only options available to treat cellulite were topical creams and topical procedures that only addressed the skin and not the actual structure of cellulite. These creams and treatments worked to plump the skin and minimize the appearance of the lumps and divots created by the cellulite, but they did nothing to attack the structural problems underneath the skin, so the cellulite would always return.

How Effective is Cellulaze for Cellulite Removal?

Cellulaze is a minimally invasive procedure that works under the skin to destroy the actual structure of cellulite. The procedure is done using local anesthesia (lidocaine and epinephrine) to numb the area. A small cannula with a laser fiber threaded through is inserted into the skin and into the trapped pockets of fat. The laser melts the fat and then cuts the rigid connective tissue bands under the skin called septea.

Once these bands are cut, the skin releases, and with it the melted fat that was trapped inside. The laser is then used to deliver energy to the skin tissue so that the body’s natural healing mechanism kicks in to begin collagen and elastin production, which will help rebuild the thinned-out skin tissue. This step is extremely important, because over time the bulges and valleys caused by the cellulite have thinned the skin in the affected areas. In essence, the skin has molded over the contours of the cellulite. This process, the rebuilding of the skin tissue, is what takes the longest to see results from your Cellulaze procedure. Post procedure, the key is patience. But it’s well worth it for effective cellulite removal.

Post Cellulaze Treatment

You will be able to return to your normal activities 1 to 2 days following your procedure, and many patients return to work the very next day. You can also return to more strenuous exercise 1 to 2 weeks after the procedure or as you feel up to it. You will experience bruising following Cellulaze, but this is typically resolved by the time you are out of your compression garment, which you should wear for two weeks. You will see marked improvement in one month with continued improvement up to 12 months post treatment. The results just get better and better over the months following your procedure!

Follow up is important. Because your results are gradual it is often hard to see the difference especially when you are looking at yourself each and every day. We recommend follow up at 1, 3, 6 and 12 months post treatment that way photos can be taken and those can be put up side by side to show the progression. One thing is for sure this procedure absolutely works for effective cellulite removal. We have never done this procedure and not seen results.

Does Cellulaze Result in Permanent Cellulite Removal?

Since there is not enough clinical data to support the claim of “permanent” we choose to say long lasting.  What we will say is that we have been performing this procedure since 2012 at WIFH, and none of our patients have returned because of recurrence of cellulite in the treated area. Also, the septea bands that are cut during the procedure are not regenerative, so it would stand to reason that the results could possibly be permanent. Although we cannot officially make that claim, you can make your own decision. So for now we say Cellulaze offers long-lasting results.

How Much Does Cellulaze Cost?

At $3,995 for the first treated area (an example of an area would be the backs of both thighs), Cellulaze is a much priceyer procedure compared to the topical treatments available, but when you factor in the need and cost for ongoing treatments with topical procedures that do not work long-term, Cellulaze is comparable. The benefit of Cellulaze is that it is a one and done procedure.

If you’ve tried everything to get rid of your cellulite or are looking for something that really works, it might be time for you to consider Cellulaze as an effective form a cellulite removal.
