Meet Dr. Jay Kulkin Founder of WIFH

Dr. Kulkin’s Background

Dr. Jay Kulkin, Founder of WIFH in Atlanta, has been a nationally recognized cosmetic laser specialist since 2003. He has conducted laser workshops around the US and Canada for many years and doctors continue to seek his advice in clinical situations. He has trained numerous Plastic Surgeons and Dermatologists in the laser workshops he has led. He has created much of the curriculum for many of the workshops to teach doctors about his unique laser techniques. He is a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.

While Dr. Kulkin is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, it is his initial laser training in the late 1980’s that lead to his expertise in cosmetic lasers. By 2015, he had performed over 8,000 Smartlipo procedures and hundreds of Cellulaze procedures as well as over 600,000 laser hair removal procedures. As a result, he has had Plastic Surgeons and Dermatologists from around the country refer patients to him. He is often quoted in the media and featured on a number of TV networks including CNN, CBS and FOX Atlanta on laser issues. He was recently featured on CNN in a story by Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Chief Medical Correspondent.

The Georgia Medical Board has had Dr. Kulkin do peer review work for them in an effort to assure quality care is provided in Georgia.  As one of the countries experts, he has patients come to Atlanta from all over the world for laser treatments of all kinds.
