Finally, for the first time...
It's time to say Good-Bye to Cellulite for Good!
Are you frustrated that you can’t get rid of cellulite, no matter how hard you try? Here’s a fact that may surprise you. Cellulite is actually caused by factors outside your control. Many believe it’s a fat problem, which can be addressed through diet and exercise. But fat isn’t the only culprit. Cellulite is a structural problem below the skin. And while you may have tried every treatment possible, you’ve never had a way to treat the very structure of cellulite. Until now.
Cellulaze is a minimally invasive, laser-assisted procedure. It works by releasing fatty pockets trapped by rigid banding below the skin. It also increases your skin’s natural thickness for a smoother, healthier look that lasts. All of this is accomplished in just one simple treatment.
Cellulaze is a one time, minimally invasive procedure that eliminates that bothersome cellulite. Cellulaze utilizes the Smartlipo MPX laser to melt the fatty pockets, disband the rigid connective tissue and tighten the skin.
What to expect:
Dr. Kulkin will mark the area(s) of cellulite to be treated with a marker. Before photos are also taken prior to starting your procedure. The procedure starts with the infusion of lidocaine into the fat, through a couple of tiny incisions, about the size of the tip of pen. Once healed these incisions are barely visible. Lidocaine is the numbing medicine most dentist use during dental procedures. Our patients tell us the infusion process feels “weird” but does not hurt! After you are completely numb, we insert the SideLight 3D Cellulaze laser fiber. The heat from the laser melts the trapped fat that create the bumps and releases the fibrous bands that pull the skin down creating the dimpled depressions. The skin also absorbs the laser energy which stimulates collagen production to increase your skin’s firmness and elasticity. The liquefied fat is gently pressed out. The entire procedure takes about 1-1 ½ hours.
You’ll have some bruising and the area maybe tender. You may also have small amounts of fluid may leak from the incision sites for the first 24-48 hours post procedure. You will wear compression garment for the first week post procedure to help contour the area. You are able to get back to normal activities after a day or two and resume more strenuous exercise after one to two weeks. Your results will continue to improve for the next three to twelve months.
